About Me

Who in the hell is this person?

No one of any consequence. :)

I have been writing programs for computer systems since 1976 when I joined the Air Force in Computer Information Systems. I bought my first computer in 1977. It was the venerable Radio Shack TRS-80. I have been writing programs for various computers ever since.

I created the first 6 voice stereo hardware module for the Commodore 64/128 along with the Stereo Player for SID music.

I created Digiplayer for the Commodore 64 which would play Amiga IFFs, MAC sound files, PC WAV files and RAW files.

I created the music player module for the Quantum Link online service which eventually evolved into AOL.

I was a software developer on the Commodore C-65 designing the music, digital audio and text to speech software. Sadly Commodore folded before that nifty computer could be finalized.

I have worked on various projects over the years varying from commercial applications to online games. Way too many to mention here without completely boring everyone to death, if I haven't done so already.

I am currently retired and working on a hobby browser based game called Alien Assault Traders . ADOdb Lite is a result of that online game. We needed a much smaller, faster ADODB library for some of the future features we plan on adding to the game.
